Dr Julieta Esteves

Dr Esteves is an HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist, specialising in the assessment and treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and complex PTSD in adults. Since qualifying in 2022, she has worked with military veterans experiencing PTSD and trauma-related difficulties, offering assessment and trauma-focused interventions (namely tfCBT and NET).

During, and prior to, her training, Dr Esteves worked extensively in psychosis, including complex trauma and psychosis presentations. She has experience of working with refugees, with complex trauma backgrounds and in doing so has worked extensively with translators and interpreters. She has worked across various populations and settings, including looked-after children, stroke survivors, and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).

Dr Esteves is fluent in both English and Portuguese.
