Dr Georgina Taylor

Dr Georgie Taylor has twenty years of experience working in mental health and has been a Chartered Clinical Psychologist for over seven years within a range of NHS and private settings. Her clinical work has focused on working with children, young people, and their families in a number of settings including inpatient, community, and paediatric health. Her specialism is working with children who have experienced trauma, their families, and the professionals around them.

Dr Taylor has worked alongside Social Care and Youth Offending in specialist teams designed to assess and address the multidimensional and complex needs of young people either in, or at risk of, being in care. A particular focus has been reunification, determining whether or not returning children to the care of their families is in the best interests of all parties.

Dr Taylor has experience of providing specialist training, consultation, and supervision to a range of professionals from varying settings. Prior to working as a clinician, Dr Taylor completed a PhD and now values integrating research knowledge and evidence into her clinical work. As a qualified Clinical Psychologist, Dr Taylor is accredited with, and regulated by, the HCPC (PYL30422) and the BPS (429029).
