Dr Dominique Newsome
Dr Dominique Newsome is a Clinical Psychologist with experience of working within a variety of multidisciplinary CAMHS and Child Development services. She works predominantly in ethnically diverse and low socioeconomic status regions and is aware of the complexities that may arise during assessment and treatment of this population. Dr Newsome’s experience is based heavily with children and families living with neuro-developmental disorders and learning disabilities.
Dr Newsome has experience in developing and implementing groups to provide psychoeducation (in mental health and neuro-developmental disorders) and social skills training for parents/carers, young people and teaching staff. She can implement and report on psychometric assessments and has implemented and reported on ADOS assessments and used the Childhood Autism Rating scale (CARS) to diagnose autistic spectrum conditions.
