Dr Claire Wilson
Dr Wilson is Consultant Clinical Psychologist with nine years of post-doctoral experience. She provides assessment and therapy in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and related presentations in adults and children. She specialises in complex trauma and has worked in a specialist trauma service building experience in a range of trauma presentations with expertise in working with forms of occupational trauma such as military personnel, emergency services, prison, healthcare, railway network personnel, and industrial accidents. She has extensive experience in working with complex cases including asylum seekers and refugees, therapy using interpreters, victims of torture, human trafficking, domestic violence, traumatic childbirth and child sexual abuse. She has also used Cognitive Analytic Therapy for clients going through court / legal processes, either in forensic or parenting/social services cases.
