Dr Cooper is Clinical Psychologist with eight years of post-doctoral experience and 17 years of experience in the clinical and forensic fields. She currently works with older adults specialising in the assessment and rehabilitation of individuals with neuro-degenerative disorders or dementia in the Yorkshire and Humber region and also assessment, formulation and intervention for individuals with functional mental health difficulties.  In her private work she works increasingly as an expert witness, having completed over 300 reports for the Civil Courts in cases involving adults and children.  She also works therapeutically with individuals privately and within court proceedings specialising in EMDR and CBT for trauma and PTSD.
