Dr Alexander Jack

Dr Jack is a Registered Forensic Psychologist, currently appointed as a Specialist Member of the Parole Board and employed as a Lecturer at the University of Bath. He has extensive experience in prison psychology, secure psychiatric care, and with public protection organisations. This includes probation, FCAMHS, and counter-terrorism police. Dr Jack has completed expert reports for family courts and the parole hearings; he has questioned hundreds of psychologists on their reports in his duties for the parole board. He has expertise in complex psychopathology, offending behaviour, and issues pertinent to family psychology, such as attachment theory, psychological trauma, and the development of risk behaviour. Dr Jack is able to complete a range of cognitive, psychological, and risk assessments.
