Ms Laura Pike
Laura is an experienced Forensic Psychologist. She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and chartered with the British Psychological Society (BPS). She has over 15 years’ experience working with adult men, women and young people across forensic settings in the community and custody in a range of settings.
Laura is trained and experienced in a variety of assessments and interventions including general, sexual and intimate partner violence, fire-setting and mental health. Laura has extensive experience producing expert witness reports and giving evidence in Parole Board and in criminal proceedings.
Across both the community and custody Laura has worked with individuals with a range of presentations that have included intellectual disabilities, mental health disorders, personality disorder, brain injury and neurodiversity, as well as those at risk of being or involved in gang crime. In her current role, Laura leads on the Offender Personality Disorder (OPD) strategy in a custodial setting, as well as sitting on community complex case panels as psychology consultant.
Laura’s specialist interests and expertise lie within the area of sexual offending risk, in particular assessing and working with men who have offence related sexual interests.
