Dr Emmi Honeybourne-Ward
Dr Honeybourne-Ward has been working in the field of mental health since 2009. Since she completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology Dr Honeybourne-Ward has specialised in working with looked after and adopted children. In particular, she has worked within a team of social workers in children’s services in London for two years, where she undertook training in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP). Dr Honeybourne-Ward has also worked within a social enterprise for the past six years predominately with adoptive families, children’s residential homes and with children’s social care teams, and contributed to care/placement planning for looked after children. In addition to her clinical commitments, Dr Honeybourne-Ward provides expert witness services in the area of family laws.
