Dr Shaffiullha has 13 years’ experience in psychiatry and has conducted more than 4000 assessments in various specialities (General Adult, Learning Disability, Child and Adolescence, Forensic, Neuropsychiatry, Assertive outreach team, Substance misuse) this time period. He spent most of the time in General Adult Psychiatry. He has received instructions on medico-legal matters since 2017. He has prepared reports for personal injury, Whiplash injury, family law (child care and contact) proceedings, criminal injury, domestic abuse, occupational health reports, criminal law (including fitness to plead and stand trial, intent, extradition cases), capacity and deprivation of liberty assessments and employment cases.
